Murdoch, the president and one of the principals of Granite Title Associates, Inc., graduated from Loyola College of Maryland cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree. She continued her education at The University of Baltimore School of Law were she received a Juris Doctor degree in 1991. Later that year, Miranda was admitted to the Maryland State Bar.
Working in the real estate industry seems natural for Miranda as two of her grandparents and both of her parents choose careers in real estate. Even before practicing real estate law, Miranda worked in the real estate field as a secretary part-time while in college and later as a title processor before starting law school.
Miranda has taught real estate law courses for paralegals at the community college level.
Having worked as an attorney for several title companies before founding Granite Title Associates, Inc., Miranda now is a key player in the leadership and overall vision of company in addition to overseeing the daily operations of Granite Title Associates, Inc. She is responsible for underwriting compliance, quality control, funding, employee training, and numerous aspects of internal review.
