Her lengthy and sophisticated experience includes representing the Maryland Port Administration and the University System of Maryland as an Assistant Attorney General; working with the leading developer, The Rouse Company (now General Growth) in Columbia, Maryland; practicing with leading law firms in Nigeria and England; and working with title companies. She is a member of the Maryland, New York and Nigerian Bars.
Morenike graduated in 1984 at the top of her class with a law degree from the University of London, and in 1986 as Master of Law from the University of Cambridge, England. She also passed the Solicitors’ Final Examinations of England and Wales with First Class Honors. In 2000, the Maryland Port Administration gave Morenike a Team Award for work done to buy a property with significant, complex environmental and bankruptcy issues; and in 2001, Morenike received an Exceptional Service Award from the Attorney General of Maryland. Morenike lives in Baltimore with her husband Adetunji and their three children.
